Innocent I, pope (d.417)

Biography
Kelly, Oxford Dictionary of Popes, 37-38: Innocent was the son of Pope Anastasius I and was probably a deacon. He succeeded his father on 21 December 401 and died on 12 March 417, being buried in the same cemetery where his father was on the Via Portuensis. His feast day is 28 July.
